The Market Hall Produce and Pasta Shops on Fourth Street in Berkeley and at Rockridge Market Hall have exciting opportunities for food enthusiasts: RETAIL SPECIALISTS, a SUPERVISOR and a CASHIER and a DRIVER.
We are looking individuals who will help us continue to provide amazing food to local businesses as well as shopping clientele by fulfilling the following responsibilities:
RETAIL SPECIALIST ~ Full time ~ serve prepared specialty food to-go (deli style) ~ build product knowledge, sell product to customers ~ assist with catering and special orders ~ use cash register.
CASHIER ~ Full time ~ assist customers in all sales transactions ~ handle cash, checks, and credit cards with attention to detail ~ keep cash drawer and receipts organized ~ give superior customer service – you are the final impression we give to our customers!
Qualifications for all positions include a passion for fine food, energy for customer service, and ability to work in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Experience is preferred, but we'll train the right person.
