Bill and Nicolette Niman raise heritage turkeys naturally and humanly at their BN Ranch in Bolinas. Attendees will learn about and taste the differences between Heritage turkeys, Bronze Standards and Broad Breasteds.

Bill, Nicolette, and Marin Sun Farms rancher/owner David Evans will talk about how they raise turkeys ethically and sustainably, and what differentiates these ranchers and other local meat producers from factory farms. Chuck Traugott of Marin Sun Farms will offer cooking tips and prepare samples from different turkeys.

Complementing turkey tastings, the culinary team from The Pasta Shop will sample their Thanksgiving side dishes, and Paul Marcus Wines will pour Thanksgiving wine pairings. Throughout the event, the merchants of Rockridge Market Hall will be showcasing Thanksgiving entertaining tips and tastes.
