As you may have noticed, The Pasta Shop is undergoing another facelift this year...just in time for the holidays. The Cheese Counter as we all know it will soon cease to exist...and in its place, a new and exciting counter where buying cheese will be an experience like you've never imagined...

But rest assured, the new cheese department will have quite a few new bells and whistles about which we're very excited. Not least of which is a heated floor...
The floor of the new department will have a system of cooling the cheese from above and heating the floor, and the staff, from below! In fact, that is what is happening right now - the pipes are being installed behind the large plywood walls that will heat the floor.
In the future, you'll also notice a few new cases. One in particular will house, among other things, caviar, foie gras and fresh truffles. We've always carried these delicacies in The Pasta Shop, but now you'll seem them all collected in one place.
We'll keep the updates coming in the weeks ahead, but in the meantime, if you're on the lookout for cheese just head to where ravioli used to live!
