Bastille Day Fête du Marché
Saturday, July 11 is our 9th Annual Bastille Day Celebration! We're honoring French cuisine and culture with specials and tastings from all around the market: French wine, cheese and charcuterie, pastries and desserts, and much more. Admission is free—no ticket or registration required!
When: Saturday, July 11 12pm-3pm
Where: Rockridge Market Hall Oakland
We'll have lots of French and French-inspired bites and ingredients for sampling and for purchase. Here's just a taste of what to expect:
- Rosé and more French wine from Paul Marcus Wines
- Mariage Freres tea and French fruit juices in our parklet
- Broiled scallops on the half-shell from Billingsgate Seafood
- Jambon de Bayonne, Roquefort, Fromager d'Affinois, French Feta and more at the Cheese Counter
- A French menu from our kitchen and bakery teams packed with specialties such as pissaladière, ratatouille and gateau Basque
- Merguez sausages at Marin Sun Farms
- Chocolate crepes and French pancake samples at Market Hall Produce
- French coffee specials from Highwire
